近日，美国一男子坐在高架桥欲跳，路过的一名陌生女子注意到他的举动。她用林肯公园乐队的歌词：谁会在意有一束光芒熄灭？我在乎？来劝解他，最后与警察合力，成功将他拉离危险地。据悉，这名女子用于安抚轻生男子的歌词，谁会在意有一束光芒熄灭？我在乎？出自于林肯公园首张录音室专辑《HybridTheory》中的第四首单曲《intheend》。
然而背后令人心酸的是，林肯公园的歌救了别人，却没能救下自己，2017年7月，林肯乐队主唱查斯特·贝宁顿在洛杉矶附近一个小型沿海城市的派洛斯福德庄园自杀，而贝宁顿自杀的日子恰好是当年早些时候自杀的克里斯·康奈尔53岁生日。在贝宁顿逝世前一周，乐队原本准备在7月27日在马萨诸塞州曼斯菲尔德开始美国巡回演出。当时消息一出，令全球粉丝心痛不已。
